Industry specific training developed in collaboration with the Scaffolding Association. This 7 hour DVSA approved driver CPC periodic training course will provide delegates with the opportunity to update their knowledge on the recent changes to the code of practice for Securing loads on HGVs and goods vehicles. By detailing who is responsible, what is required to stay safe and compliant when loading vehicles and the consequences of getting it wrong.
This course will also provide delegates with the opportunity to develop knowledge and understanding of how to conduct vehicle checks and ensure the vehicle is in a safe roadworthy condition. Including what items need to be checked, how to identify and complete a defect or NIL defect report. Delegates will also be given an understanding of how the enforcement agencies work, their powers and documentation they may use during enforcement events.
