  • Conditions of Carriage: The RHA Conditions of Carriage are recognised as the industry standard and are copyrighted for the exclusive use of RHA members. The RHA Conditions of Carriage are designed to clearly define the legal relationship between the carrier and the customer.  Amongst other things, the RHA Conditions of Carriage set out the responsibilities of all parties involved in the movement of the goods, state time limits for claims and specify the liabilities for loss, mis-delivery or damage. Hauliers who fail to properly incorporate Conditions of Carriage into their relationship with their customers could be held responsible under Common Law for the full value of the load being carried and for any losses arising from damaged delivery.  (Members can download the Conditions of Carriage or request a personal digital copy here.)
  • Conditions of Coach Hire & Conditions of Coach Trips – Industry leading terms and conditions available for members to define contractual terms between the operator and their clients. Including but not limited to clauses covering force majeure, obligations on each party, passenger conduct, seating capacity, passenger property & cancellation, plus much more.
  • Benevolent Fund - The Benevolent Fund is the Road Haulage Association’s charity. It proactively supports people and their family dependents with a connection to the road transport industry when times are tough. Open to members current and past.
  • Member Assistance Program (MAP) -  Is a confidential service to help people deal with personal or work-related challenges. It's a 24/7/365 service run by PAM Wellbeing, staffed by qualified counsellors to offer support to those that need it. The services are also available to their immediate family members and managers can also call to ask for advice on how best to assist employees that are going through difficult times.
  • Other Conditions – Members have additional access to sector specific Conditions in relation to builders skips, storage, abnormal indivisible loads, towing of caravans and park homes inc mobile units, livestock and bulk liquids.
